A right side back pain, you should consider day stretches to help ease the pain, particularly if it's being due to sciatic nerve injury, if you're experiencing. You can determine whether the pain is sciatica or sore muscles from the type pain you are feeling, as sore muscles feel like an muscle that begins to ache and tightens. Sciatica (sciatic nerve pain) about the other hand, is more of an electric shock o-r, pins and needles sort of pain.
Lower right back pain as a result of overworked muscles can be reduced simply by using a heating pad but, if the pain is sciatica the heat is only going to make it worse so, be sure you know what is causing the pain before applying heat. When the pain is concentrated in only the lower straight back, and again, is more of only a pain from tight, overworked muscles then, this is a symptom of a sprained o-r bruised muscle and may be treated as such.
If the lower right back pain you are feeling is like an electrical shock o-r unbearable like needle typ-e pain and pins and it radiates downward through the buttocks and then goes down the back of the leg then, you're experiencing sciatica. Sciatica occurs once the sciatic nerve becomes pinched, which causes inflammation, inflammation causes swelling, which in turn places stress on the nerve where it leaves the backbone, which is, what causes the severe pain you're feeling.
The pain can move from the right side to the right side and back to left side again suddenly or it can move and stay in the heart of the low back area. Because there are many things that can damage the nerve, most of them connected with problems with the discs and vertebrae of the back, day stretches can help relieve the pain by helping keep the discs and vertebrae in place keeping the pres-sure off of the sciatic nerve.
The stretches that I'm referring to are backward expansion exercises developed by a therapist by the name of Robin McKenzie. When preformed properly they have a tendency to centralize the pain near the heart of the lower back, in other words when properly preformed the pain in the feet and buttock moves and stays in the lower back. This is one way you are able to tell the pressure on the sciatic nerve has been eased.

The stretches must be preformed significantly more than just once each day each morning. They should be done whenever the pain begins to go in the back to the buttocks and legs. They must also be preformed when the pain first flares up as they can help relieve the original pain of flare ups. You must also use ice packs to help relieve the pain, area ice wrapped in a cloth on the area of the pain for twenty minutes after every two hours for the primary twenty-four to forty-eight hours.
Snow, in conjunction with preforming the stretching workouts twice a day should relieve the pain but, when the pain is gone, if you carry on with the stretches twice a, you can keep the lumbar support from returning so, consider day stretches as-well as morning stretches to keep your sciatica away.
